CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RECORDS COORDINATOR
Walgett Shire Council seeks a motivated and organised professional to join our team as a Customer Service and Records Coordinator.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead Council's Customer Service and Records section. Reporting to the Director, you will take charge of overseeing a diverse range of critical services, including the delivery of Australia Post at Collarenebri, Services Australia at Lightning Ridge, and Council services across multiple locations. This leadership position is central to ensuring that these essential services operate seamlessly and meet the community's high expectations.
As a key team leader, you will inspire and guide a dedicated group of customer service professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Your ability to streamline processes and enhance customer experiences will be vital in ensuring efficient and responsive service delivery. With a strong focus on operational excellence, this role allows you to apply your administrative expertise while shaping the way services are delivered to our community.

The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-disiplinary teams.
- Proficiency in records management systems, preferably TRIM.
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the State Records Act (1998).
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with a drive to provide the highest levels of customer service.
- A Certificate IV in Business Administration, Records Management, or equivalent experience.
